Policy for Environment, Sustainability & Community

Sustainable development is a core value at Albertine and we believe that respectful use of the environment and respect to the communities in which we operate is fundamental to our business success. We endeavor to deliver environmentally sustainable outcomes for energy, materials and water, during all stages of our projects.

In support of our objectives in conducts of our projects are to ensure:

  • Efficient use of energy and raw materials;
  • Minimize wastage
  • Minimize detrimental environmental effects and emissions;
  • We demonstrate respect and consideration for communities;
  • We maintain an Environmental Management System that complies with meets client and legislative requirements;
  • We set targets which drive us to continually improve our performance.

Policy for Environment, Sustainability & Community

This commitment will be met by understanding the environmental aspects and impacts and endeavoring to continually reduce the impacts of our activities and where appropriate changing the way that we operate.

To achieve the above, we will:

  • Be accountable for our actions;
  • Hold management, employees and subcontractors accountable for compliance;
  • Comply with our Environmental Management System;
  • Proactively identify, assess and manage risk;
  • Provide our people with relevant training and resources;
  • Regularly monitor, review and report on our progress against agreed objectives and targets;
  • Take into account the above objectives and principles in our project and business planning processes;

The Managing Director is accountable to Albertine Board of Directors for ensuring implementation of the policy.
